Privacy Notice

This notice explains who is responsible for personal data collected through this website, what is collected, why, and the rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who is responsible for your data

Sharon Nolan, trading as Sharon Nolan Coaching, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. The business is established in Spain and works with clients in Ireland, the UK and internationally.

Full business identification details, including the registered address, are set out on the Legal Notice page. You can contact the controller at sharon@snolancoaching.com.

What personal data is collected

This website does not host a contact form. Personal data reaches the business in the following ways:

  • Email enquiries — your name, email address and anything you choose to include in your message.
  • Booking a conversation — bookings are made through Calendly, a third-party scheduling service. The details you enter there (typically name, email address, chosen time and any notes) are collected by Calendly and shared with the business so the meeting can take place.
  • Leadership Check-In — the Check-In is hosted by ScoreApp, a third-party assessment service. Any answers and contact details you provide there are collected by ScoreApp and made available to the business.
  • Website administration — the site owner signs in to a private editing area. This uses an authenticated session and stores an email address and sign-in credentials for that single account. No public accounts or registrations exist on this website.
  • Technical logs — hosting and security infrastructure records standard technical information such as IP address, request time, requested page, browser type and error details, in order to serve pages and protect the site.

No analytics or advertising tracking is in use on this website at the time of publication. If measurement is introduced later, this notice and the cookie notice will be updated and, where consent is required, it will be requested first.

Why your data is used

  • To respond to enquiries and correspond with you.
  • To arrange and hold introductory conversations and coaching sessions.
  • To provide the results of the Leadership Check-In where you request it.
  • To administer, secure and maintain this website.
  • To meet legal, accounting and professional obligations that apply to the business.

Third-party services

The following third parties may process personal data in connection with this website. Each operates under its own privacy notice, which you should read before using the service:

  • Calendly — scheduling of conversations.
  • ScoreApp — hosting of the Leadership Check-In.
  • LinkedIn — the profile linked from this site.
  • Website hosting, database and authentication infrastructure, which stores site content and enables the owner sign-in described above.

International transfers

Some of the third-party services above operate infrastructure or support functions outside the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred internationally, it is done under the safeguards those providers put in place, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision. Details of the specific safeguards are set out in each provider's own privacy documentation.

How long data is kept

Personal data is kept only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, and for any period required by law — for example, retention obligations that apply to business and accounting records. Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted once they are no longer relevant. Data held inside a third-party service is also subject to that provider's own retention settings.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data held about you.
  • Ask for inaccurate data to be corrected.
  • Ask for data to be erased where there is no continuing reason to keep it.
  • Ask for processing to be restricted, or object to it.
  • Request a copy of data you provided in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos; in Ireland, the Data Protection Commission; or the authority in your country of residence.
